| I have always enjoyed painting and drawing. I would describe my style as loose realism with attention to colour, contrast and form with a faithful expression of detail.
Despite the availability of photography and computer image processing, I believe that a well-rendered painting will provide a more interesting image.
The artist has a perception of reality along with the input of emotion. The human eye is in constant motion, changing position, focus and aperture. The skilled artist has a unique advantage in portraying what he/she sees and feels.
The act of creating an image from an empty canvas is to me, very exciting. |
