Art and crafts have always been a part of my life.

Art and crafts have always been a part of my life. It ranged from drawing, painting, jewelry making, stain glass and knitting. I have taken painting classes in CEGEP and as an adult at the Visual Art Center. I finally returned to painting when I retired in 2020.

An empty canvas is like a new puzzle to me, just waiting to be played with. It is a chance to let out what I am feeling and to put down what I see in my head. The most important piece of the puzzle is colours; let me be more precise, bright and HAPPY colors.

The finished work needs to put a smile on my face every time I look at it and hopefully a smile on others. My medium of choice at this point is acrylics and it is often complemented with the use of fabrics and beads.
